What works best for you?

Our staff here at Kings Flooring can point you in the right direction on what type of finishes work best for your floors. For example, our traditional Swedish finishes (oil-based products) provides a more traditional homestead feel and look, we also provide a much more modern and natural look with our top-rated water base finish. Hardwood refinish is a very popular option for many great reasons. If you have existing hardwood floor you have the luxury of finishes, thicknesses, and widths, so you are going to find a style of refinish that you will fall in love with.

Hardwood is a better option than carpet in areas that have heavy foot traffic such as entryways, hallways, and stairs, this is due to the wood being naturally harder. Also note wood is not the greatest choice if you are thinking about an area that is constantly exposed to high moisture or water flow areas. In situations like that you will want to go with an LVP/SPC floor.

Another great side of refinishing your hardwood floors is you can change the color to one of your preferred choices to make your home look more modern over-all
Engineered floors can be refinished if they have a face wear layer of 3mm or more to ensure you get the best out of your floor. (For more information call (425-869-5464)
